Last month, Wrestling Travel’s own, Lucy Openshaw, put together a historic wrestling event, in aid of Mental Health.

The event took place on 3rd November 2019 at Fairfield Social Club, in Manchester City Centre, in front of over one hundred avid wrestling fans.

The event featured a number of talent, who all worked the event for free, in aid of raising money for charities Manchester Mind and Papyrus.

The talent featured included NXT UK stars; Tyson T-Bone, Ligero & referee, Chris Sharpe. Plus up and comers on the independent scene in the UK such as; The Young Guns, Tom Thelwell & Eliza Roux.

    The full card:
Sandy Beach vs. Wing Commander Nash vs. Damon Leigh vs. Tom Thelwell vs. Jennie Anne vs. Rhio in a Scramble Match.

Alexis & Taonga vs. Sexy Kev & Dom Black in a Sexy Sass Off

The Young Guns vs. Joe Nelson & JJ Barker in a Tag Team Match

Lucy Openshaw told us “Seeing everyone come together and work hard meant so much to me’

She added “Even the workers said it was one of the most fun and enjoyable show they had done, and had the best atmopshere.”

On the potential of a Fight The Good Fight 2 “I heard nothing but good feedback and this makes me want to do it again next year, and hopefully raise just as much, if not more, for Mental Health charities.”
