Wrestling Travel were this week featured on the IMPACT Wrestling Press Pass, ahead of IMPACT’s biggest show of the year, Bound for Glory, and discussed all things intergender wrestling.

Wrestling Travel’s, Danny, was in the hot seat, when called upon to ask current Knockout’s Champion, Deonna Purrazzo and current X-Division Champion, Rohit Raju a question.

Tessa Blanchard already having held the IMPACT World Title, and now Jordynne Grace competing in the X-Division Scramble at Bound for Glory, the question was put to both, whether they thought all divisions, outside of the Knockouts Division, would ultimately become intergender.

“Maybe. I don’t know, who knows. I think it’s cool that anybody can get any title, I mean it’s 2020 maybe i’ll go for the Knockouts Title!”

This sparked a reaction from current Knockout’s Champion, Deonna Purrazzo.

“Oh! So are you saying i’m going to lose at Bound for Glory, is that what you’re saying!?’ Deonna raised to Rohit.

The X-Division Champion then responded saying he’s focused on the X-Division and knows Deonna will be successful at the mega event.

Rohit told Wrestling Travel “With the way things are going in professional wrestling, I do think that will take some time, people are on the fence about intergender wrestling and all this stuff.

He continued “I get it, things take time. I don’t have an answer, but I think when anything works in professional wrestling when done correctly.”

The Knockouts Champion believed Rohit answered the question perfectly and went on to say “It’s cool that IMPACT has broken down those barriers already, so I don’t see the continuance of that being an issue. Intergender is not something that is completely up my alley, so I don’t want to completely say no, but I also don’t know.”

IMPACT Wrestling presents Bound for Glory on 24th October 2020, featuring Deonna Purrazzo defending her Knockouts Championship against Kylie Rae, and Rohit Raju defending his X-Division Title in a 6-person Scramble Match.
