Ahead of Raw and following Backlash and ‘The Greatest Wrestling Match Ever’, it was reported that the Rated R Superstar, Edge, had torn his triceps, ultimately ruling him out for a number of months.
That being said, leading into Raw, speculation was mounting that Christian would be appearing on Raw with something ‘unexpected’. This lead to speculation that he was cleared to return and would slot into the storyline with Randy Orton moving forward.
Raw once again emanated from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, with this time a small handful of family and friends being allowed into the building to join the Performance Center Trainees as audience members.

5. Lashley Wants A Divorce
Bobby Lashley’s wife, Lana, interfered in his WWE Championship match with Drew McIntyre at Backlash, and ultimately cost him the match. On Raw, Lashley and MVP blamed her for this, until she claimed that Lashley’s manager, MVP, had ruined their marriage. Though Lashley didn’t seem to think so as he demanded a divorce from Lana in the middle of the ring!
4. IIconics Get Another Shot
Even though losing at Backlash in the Women’s Tag Title Triple Threat match, Peyton Royce and Billie Kay were determined to get back on track. They defeated Natalya and Liv Morgan in a tag team match, and then proceeded to challenge Sasha Bank and Bayley to a title match next week. Later in the night, Royce and Kay goaded the champions into the match next week as they were celebrating Bayley’s birthday, to set the stage for next week. Could The IIconics be taking home to gold next week?
3. Big Show Returns To Help Viking Profits
Following the crazy cinematic segment from Backlash involving The Street Profits, The Viking Raiders and Akira Tozawa with his warriors, the action continued in the ring on Raw, with the ‘Viking Profits’ bringing out some back-up in the form of the Worlds Largest Athlete, The Big Show!
2. Dominik Attacks Rollins
After Rollins’ vicious and verbal attacks on Rey Mysterio the last few weeks, it was his son Dominik that decided to take actions into his own hands. Rollins was in the ring, as Rey was on the screen, when Rollins was ambushed by Dominik entering through the crowd, but managed to flee before Rollins disciples Murphy and Austin Theory could get their hands on him.
1. Christian Returns For One More Match
It was widely speculation before Raw that Christian would be returning, but of course things didn’t go according to plan. The show kicked off with Randy Orton tempted Captain Charisma into an Unsanctioned Match, which Christian did accept later in the night. As the match was about to begin, ‘The Nature Boy’ Ric Flair went behind Christian to deliver a low-blow, which allowed Orton to deliver The Punt, to send Christian out of the Performance Center on a stretcher.
